About — Learn While You Type | TypeOut.io

Our Mission

TypeOut.io improves computer literacy and education through practical keyboard skills for underserved areas of South America and localized groups in the United States. We turn five to ten minutes of typing into safe, personalized, measurable improvement in speed and accuracy. Our first focus is Spanish-speaking learners in Latin America who want more confidence with a physical keyboard.

What We Offer

• A first typing test with immediate WPM and accuracy results before sign-up.
• Visible progress that shows what improved and what to practice next.
• Curated, age-appropriate content that gives keyboard practice useful context.
• An encouraging experience that does not judge beginners by speed, rankings, or paywalls.
• Privacy-minded learning: we collect only the data needed to operate and improve the service.

Our Approach

Typing improvement is our main promise. TypeOut combines useful content, clear feedback, and a reachable next action so practice can become a helpful daily habit. We use AI as a coach, not an authority. Typing data supports each recommendation, and the product does not claim academic or computer-literacy outcomes that it cannot prove.

Our Story

TypeOut.io is led by a Venezuelan software engineer who grew tired of being rejected from job applications without a clear reason. It is painful to see the world and technology move so quickly while Latin America and its people remain excluded from many opportunities. The product began with a simple goal: help more people build keyboard confidence and access useful ideas through short, practical daily practice. We build carefully for learners, especially beginners, with local trust and real progress as our guide.
